I'm currently a student at Belmont University with a keen interest in politics and I started this website to oppose the candidacy of John McCain.
Please bear in mind that just because this website is anti-McCain, that does not mean that it is "pro-" any other candidate. This website does not exist to specifically endorse any of McCain's opponents in the 2008 Presidential Election. Please also note my use of the plural form of the word "opponent." Remember that there are not only two candidates or two parties in this election, but many candidates representing many parties, and no- voting for one of "the other" candidates is not throwing away your vote if you think that person is the best one for the job.
Last of all... anti-McCain is shorthand for "anti- the presidential candidacy of John McCain." I am not anti-McCain as a human being and as a person and I hope that I am not "anti-" any other human being. John McCain is intrinsically valuable and holds an inherent dignity as a human being (and as a brave soldier who has experienced things I cannot fathom). I do not seek to personally malign him or spread hatred for him or any other individual. So many websites and political personalities do just that- and I'm going to state unequivocally that this is wrong!
I am in no position to judge John McCain as an individual human being, nor anyone else for that matter and neither are you. I am however, in the position of judging whether or not he'd make a good president for the United States of America, and I have a responsibility as a citizen of this democracy to make that judgement to the best of my ability and with as much information as I can get. The verdict....
John McCain would be colossally bad for this country! A McCain presidency would be a huge mistake. This website is just a footnote to that crucial fact, documenting and defending this claim as true and vitally important to our decision-making as Americans cast their ballots this November.
Thanks for visiting and happy reading!
